According to The Times, Premier League rival Manchester United have opened talks with Chelsea over signing Mason Mount this summer.
United are yet to make an official offer for Mount, 24, but senior figures at Old Trafford have begun discussions with Chelsea and made clear their desire to sign the England international.
The report also adds that Mount has rejected three offers from Chelsea, despite the club offering to make him one of the club’s top earners.
Mount has just one year left on his Chelsea contract and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. Chelsea will look to sell the midfielder this summer to avoid losing him as a free agent next year.
