According to Football Insider, Chelsea star Mason Mount has told the club he wants to leave amid interest from Premier League rival Manchester United.

The Chelsea academy graduate has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United and it is believed the Red Devils are working on submitting a bid for the England international this week.

The report also adds that the two clubs are yet to agree a fee but negotiations between United and the Blues are advancing.

Chelsea still want close to £70million to sell Mount this summer after initially asking for £80million.

Liverpool were also interested in a deal for Mount but Manchester United have emerged as leaders in the race for his signature.
