Gary Neville has slammed Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana for his ‘really poor’ error which led to Manchester City’s goal in a 1-0 defeat for the Blues.

“Really poor give away from Fofana,” Neville said during commentary of the match on Sky Sports.

“It is never in doubt from Palmer, it is so accurate and precise with his pass, brilliant when Alvarez is one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

“City may have made more changes, but they have started much better than Chelsea.”
