Joao Felix is on loan at Chelsea from Spanish side Atletico Madrid until the end of the season and with Chelsea reportedly unwilling to pay Atletico Madrid’s €100million asking price to sign Felix permanently, Newcastle United have joined the race.

Newcastle United are reportedly willing to pay Atletico Madrid’s asking price to sign Felix in the summer when his Chelsea loan expires.

Felix has now reacted to reports claiming Newcastle United is the only club willing to pay €100million to sign him from Atletico Madrid.

Felix wrote on Instagram: “Just a bunch of know-it-alls!”
