Chelsea legend Florent Malouda has hailed the quality of Chelsea signing Christopher Nkunku. The France international forward will join Chelsea at the end of the season.

Malouda said: “This is the type of player Chelsea is actually missing, who are hungry and want to prove themselves.

“The timing was great for Chelsea to get him as there would have been so many clubs looking at him. He will bring so much quality to the Premier League.

“If I had to compare him to anyone, it would be Allan Saint-Maximin. He always wants to try things in the final third, he wants to create or shoot for himself and he is not afraid to take risks. It’s a very good signing for Chelsea.”
