Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has won the La Liga with Barcelona despite being a Chelsea player.
Barcelona sealed the LaLiga title for the first time since 2019 on Sunday night thanks to a 4-2 win against local rivals Espanyol.
Aubameyang was part of the Barcelona squad at the start of the season before his move to Chelsea, and a cameo off the bench before his move to Chelsea have seen him win the La Liga.
The striker played only eight minutes in Barcelona’s 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano on the opening weekend of the campaign.
He amassed four touches of the ball and had a 100 per cent success rate, making three.
For a Premier League player to be deemed as part of such a squad, they need to make a minimum of five appearances.
However, across the continent this rule is not the same and Aubameyang has therefore won his first league title.
