Incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants Chelsea to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, who is also wanted by Arsenal, according to 90min.

Pochettino is keen to work with the 24-year-old England World Cup star at Chelsea next season and has urged Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly to open the chequebook.

There are doubts over the futures of Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek at Chelsea and it is understood that strengthening the midfield is a key part of Pochettino’s vision for Chelsea.
