Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe is keen on signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher this summer to strengthen his midfield, according to Daily Mail.
While Newcastle scouts checked on RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai in their win over Werder Bremen on Sunday, Howe would prefer someone with Premier League experience.
Newcastle United boss Howe believes signing Gallagher will be simple for Newcastle due to Chelsea’s willingness to sell the England midfielder this summer.
Gallagher, who has two years remaining on his Chelsea contract, has started 15 Premier League matches this season and come off the bench in a further 17.
