Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has identified four Chelsea players to sign in the summer as he aims to challenge for the Premier League title with Chelsea next season.
According to The Independent via GOAL, Pochettino wants to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane who has just one year left on his Tottenham Hotspur contract.
Kane developed into of the most feared strikers in Europe under Pochettino during his time in the Spurs dugout but his future in north London is uncertain with just over one year left on his current contract.
Pochettino also wants to bring back West Ham captain Declan Rice to Chelsea. Rice came through the Chelsea academy before he was released as a 14-year-old.
Brighton star Mac Allister is also on Pochettino’s wishlist. A move to Stamford Bridge would see him reunited with fellow World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez, who joined Chelsea in a club record deal in January.
Pochettino isn’t convinced about Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy and wants to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who won the World Cup with Argentina.
Pochettino is also eager for Mason Mount to stay at the club amid his ongoing contract stand-off with Chelsea while Romelu Lukaku could also still have a future at the club.
