Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has urged Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly to sign World Cup winner and Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, according to Fichajes via GOAL.

The report adds: “Pochettino wants Chelsea to add a creative central midfielder to the team, and has asked Todd Boehly to gazump Liverpool to Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.

“Mac Allister has a contract at the Amex until 2025 which puts him in a strong position to push for a move away from the Seagulls.

“Liverpool are thought to be one of the teams interested in landing Mac Allister this summer alongside Manchester United.”
