Reacting to Raheem scoring two goals against Nottingham Forest, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard told Sky Sports: “Great goals, great position to be in for the first for a winger and an individual goal for the second one which is great for him. I’m really pleased for him because players at the top end really need that and we need more of that.

“Some players are developing a bit and you need to control games. There are games both before and since I have been here where we control the game and have over 70% possession. It doesn’t count for much if you’re not going to be clinical at the top end of the pitch. Raheem was clinical in those moments and occasions but we need that more.”
