According to AS, Deco is closer than ever to becoming Barcelona’s new sporting director and the former Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder will push to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Chelsea in the summer.

Barcelona manager Xavi wants Aubameyang back at Barcelona after the striker left the Spanish side for Chelsea last summer.

Deco reportedly has a good relationship with Aubameyang and will look to sign the 33 year old striker for Barcelona in the summer.
