According to Evening Standard, Chelsea defender Dujon Sterling will leave Chelsea in the summer for Scottish club Rangers on a free transfer.
The 23 year old leaves Chelsea after 15 years at the club. He impressed on loan at Stoke in the Championship this season, following spells at Blackpool, Wigan and Coventry.
The report adds: “Former Chelsea academy coach Michael Beale is Rangers manager and the Scottish giants have beaten a host of clubs in England to his signing.
“Rangers offered Sterling a chance to play in the Champions League next season and compete with Celtic for major honours in Scotland.
“He is expected to sign a deal in the coming weeks, subject to a medical and final contractual details being rubber-stamped.
“Sterling will leave having made one senior appearance for Chelsea, aged 17 in a League Cup match against Nottingham Forest in 2017.”
