Chelsea is expected to unveil Mauricio Pochettino as the club’s new manager this week.
Pochettino will wait until the end of the season to begin working with the squad, leaving caretaker manager Frank Lampard in charge until then.
According to Daily Mail via Metro, Pochettino wants to make at least three more additions this summer despite the Blues spending over £600million in the last two transfer windows.
Pochettino is keen on signing a new goalkeeper, central midfielder and striker during his first transfer window at Chelsea and will favour players with Premier League pedigree.
While Pochettino already has an eye on potential incomings, he will also need to offload several players, not only to trim Chelsea’s bloated squad but also to raise some funds.
The Argentine is said to be impressed with the talent at Stamford Bridge but is keen on adding experience to the Chelsea squad.
