Chelsea will look to sell Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer and sign 22 year old Nice defensive midfielder Khephren Thuram, according to Rudy Galetti via The Hard Tackle.
The report adds: “Thuram came through the ranks at AS Monaco before joining OGC Nice back in the summer of 2019. Ever since he joined Nice, the 22-year-old has gone from strength to strength. His performances also resulted in his debut for the French team in March.
“The Nice midfielder has made a total of 136 appearances during his time at the club and also has 19 goal contributions. As far as the ongoing season is concerned, the 22-year-old has been the mainstay of their team. Meanwhile, his market value has risen to €32 million.
“He has featured in 46 matches and has managed to rack up 10 goal contributions. He has been a rock in front of their backline. And, his performances have resulted in a lot of attention from across Europe. While his contract with Nice runs until the summer of 2025, the 22-year-old is expected to move on to a bigger club in the summer given the amount of interest in him.”
