Chelsea star Conor Gallagher was excited to have been played in his favourite position in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Gallagher, Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix all scored to secure the victory over Bournemouth, which was Frank Lampard’s first win as Chelsea interim manager.

Lampard played N’Golo Kante in an advanced position against Bournemouth and Gallagher was also impressed with the performance of Kante.

“NG can run all day. He probably made about 100 of those forward runs which is really effective and I think my position is my favourite position and it worked well,” said Gallagher.
