The report adds: “Chelsea are in talks to sign Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.

“Football Insider says Chelsea have been negotiating for two months with Lavia’s camp for the Belgian.

“Chelsea failed with a massive offer for Lavia last summer just weeks after his arrival at St Mary’s from Manchester City.

“Lavia will consider his future at the end of the season with Southampton likely relegated.

“The midfielder will have concerns after becoming involved in the Belgium squad this season.”
