German side Bayern Munich are hoping that Chelsea will enter the race to sign Sadio Mane this summer, according to German transfer expert Christian Falk.

Mane joined Bayern Munich last summer from Liverpool for €32million but has struggled to impressed in the Bundesliga.

Falk told CaughtOffside: “Bayern are hoping for an offer from Chelsea – offers from Premier League clubs are welcome in Munich (!) – but there are no seriously interested parties at this stage.

“Any potential interest from Newcastle doesn’t appeal to Mane either.”
