According to Football Insider via GOAL, Chelsea have made signing Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia a priority for the club this summer.
The report adds the Blues are locked in talks with Lavia to lure him to west London this summer and the 19 year old midfielder could become the first signing of the Mauricio Pochettino era.
Chelsea will have to pay a reported £45m release clause to force the Saints’ into a sale, though, given his contract at St. Mary’s runs until 2027.
