According to Football London, Manchester United are interested in signing Chelsea reject and Roma star Tammy Abraham.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is keen on signing a striker in the summer and has identified Abraham as an ideal signing should Manchester United fail to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham.
The report adds: “United scouts have been spotted ‘several times’ at Roma games to watch Abraham this season. The former Chelsea striker has an €80million (£70million) buyback clause in his contract that would allow Chelsea to bring him back to west London this summer.
“The 25-year-old striker moved to Italy and joined Roma in a £34m move two years ago and that clause will complicate things for United. That is because Mourinho’s side would have to let Chelsea know of any bids they receive from other clubs for Abraham – whilst giving the Italian outfit a strong bargaining position regarding a fee for their star striker.”
