According to talkSPORT, London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are bracing themselves for a bid from Chelsea for Harry Kane this summer with Mauricio Pochettino set to be named as Chelsea boss.

The report adds: “The Spurs striker was already in Chelsea’s thoughts as they search for a experienced no.9 for next season.

“However Mauricio Pochettino’s pending appointment at Stamford Bridge is set to only heighten the Blues’ interest.

“Kane played 242 games under Pochettino at Spurs and the pair share a special bond thanks to their five years together.

“talkSPORT understands Levy is reluctant to sell Kane – who is also wanted by Manchester United – to any Premier League club, let alone a London rival.

“But with only a year left on his contract, Spurs are hardly in a position of power when it comes to the future of their record goal-scorer.”
