Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has urged Chelsea to sell Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer.

According to Agbonlahor, Koulibaly is not the same player he was before he was bought from Napoli and does not fit the role.

The Blues signed Koulibaly from Napoli last summer, following the departure of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger to Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.

“The Koulibaly they thought they were getting is not the same player they’ve brought in. He’s not the same player he was at Napoli,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.

“He’s not as quick as I thought he would be. He just looks very old and in pain when he’s playing – he doesn’t look like a top defender at all. It would suit both club and player for Koulibaly to be moved on this summer.”
