According to 90min via Chelsea Chronicle, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku still wants to leave Chelsea at the end of the season even if Mauricio Pochettino is named the new manager at the club.
The 29 year old striker joined Chelsea from Inter Milan for £98million in the summer of 2021. After struggling at Stamford Bridge, he returned to Inter Milan on loan last summer.
The report adds: “There had been reports recently that the striker may be handed another chance to make things work at Stamford Bridge with a new manager at the helm, after it seemed he had no future under Thomas Tuchel.
“It had been claimed that Pochettino would be open to giving the Belgium international another chance if he does become the new manager in West London.
“However, latest reports state that the striker’s ambitions are still going to lie in Milan, as he wants to extend his second spell with Inter.”
