Brentford manager Thomas Frank has reacted to Brentford’s 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Frank told BBC: “In the last six games when we didn’t win, in at least three of them we were maybe better than today.
“It was two small deflections for the goals, against Wolves we got two deflections going the other way. That is football. Going to Chelsea, I know they are not in the best form, but look at the players and it is Stamford Bridge!
“We knew they would make changes at half time. We expected there would be a response. They were on top then but we got some freshness in and that helped and we were back in control.
“Set pieces is a weapon we are very pleased with. Every team wants to score set piece goals.”
