Chelsea’s hopes of signing Rasmus Hojlund have been boosted after Atalanta admitted it would be ‘impossible’ to reject ‘huge’ offers for the striker.

The 20-year-old has attracted attention from Europe’s elite this season after a stunning breakthrough for club and country.

“I haven’t seen so many strikers as good as Hojlund at 20. He can improve a lot, he’s great,” Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini said.

“Top European clubs are always attentive to this kind of top talents. There could be some huge bid for him that would be impossible to reject for us.”
