DONE DEAL: Chelsea set to announce new manager

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with Mauricio Pochettino to become the next Chelsea manager.

The report adds: “The Blues are hoping to have his appointment fully wrapped up by the end of the week.

“Club legend and former manager Frank Lampard took over following Graham Potter’s departure at the start of the month, taking the reins until the end of the season.

“It is understood that Lampard will remain at the helm for the remainder of the campaign.”
