Mauricio Pochettino supports a clearout at Chelsea this summer with the former Tottenham manager in agreement that the Chelsea squad is bloated, according to The Telegraph via Tribal Football.

The report adds: “Pochettino is favourite for the manager’s job at Chelsea after twice meeting with Blues directors.

“The Telegraph says during talks, Pochettino supported the prospect of a clearout.

“As many as 10 first team players may need to be moved on with the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Conor Gallagher, Mateo Kovacic, Cesar Azpilicueta and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang just a few players facing an uncertain future at the club.

“Pochettino is a free agent after leaving PSG at the end of last season.”
