Todd Boehly meet club president to discuss transfer of winger who has tormented defenders with his dribbling in the Champions League

According to Portuguese media outlet A Bola, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met the president of Sporting Lisbon Frederico Varandas on Tuesday in London.

The report claims the future of AC Milan winger Rafael Leao was the topic on the table when leaders of both clubs met in London.

Leao owe Sporting Lisbon €20.3million after unilaterally terminating his contract with the Portuguese club in 2018.

While Leao is currently negotiating a contract extension with his current club AC Milan (his current contract expires in 2024), Chelsea are confident the Blues can sign the winger and pay the €20m he’s owing Sporting.
