Chelsea are reportedly considering hiring Burnley manager and Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany.

Kompany has achieved promotion to the Premier League for Burnley in his first season at the club and it is claimed the Chelsea hierarchy are impressed with the job he has done at Burnley.

Kompany and Burnley lost 2-1 at home to QPR on Saturday despite managing 21 shots on goal compared to QPR’s six, while Kompany’s side also boasted a staggering 81 per cent possession and a far superior passing accuracy of 89 per cent.
