Chelsea passed up the chance to hire former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique as replacement for Graham Potter due to his demands, according to The Independent.
Enrique, who won a Champions League, La Liga and Spanish cup treble with Barcelona, impressed the Chelsea hierarchy during a meeting with the club but he won’t be considered for the role of Chelsea manager due to his demands.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is now the favourite to be hired as Chelsea manager.
