Chelsea have told Edouard Mendy that he can leave this summer, according to The Sun.

Mendy, 30, snubbed a new six-year contract over the salary offered – which did not rival Kepa Arrizabalaga’s contract.

Mendy has lost his place as Chelsea no.1 goalkeeper this season and now looks set to leave the club at the end of the season.

Mendy, who has kept 49 clean sheets in 104 games for the Blues, arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2020 and helped the Blues to Champions League and Club World Cup success before falling out of favour this season when Graham Potter was in charge.

Mendy will have just one year left on his Chelsea contract at the end of the season and he has been told he can leave the club this summer.

    He better leave the club

  2. This is NOT good for the club. Mendy is far far better than Kapa. One thing I know is that Kepa saves penalties well.
It’s unbelievable to tell a goalkeeper like Mendy to live the club if he doesn’t agree to new contract offered to him. You renegatiate and increase the pay to make him accept the offer.
This is what you people have doing by allowing good players to leave the club and You start to regret later. Eg, Rudiger, Alonso, Christiansen, Hudson Odoi,(though on loan) Timo Warner and the rest.
Offer better contract to keep Mendy in the club.

  3. We must not treat our players in such a manner this Todd Boehly I thing he come to destroy the team coz his principles are so negative
