Brazilian forward Rodrygo scored twice as Real Madrid beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

For his first goal, Rodrygo pulled a Cristiano Ronaldo-esque celebration. The young Brazilian decided to celebrate using Cristiano Ronaldo’s trademark ‘Siu’ celebration.

Rodrygo revealed that he didn’t want to risk an injury by doing his regular sliding celebration, and chose the safer option of copying his idol.

“When I scored, my immediate reaction was to think about doing one of those knee slides but I’ve got a slightly tender knee when I flex,” he told reporters.

“So it popped into my mind to copy my idol, Cristiano, and copy what he does.”
