Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has warned Barcelona midfielder Gavi that he won’t be happy at Chelsea.
The 18 year old Spain international will be a free agent at the end of the season and Chelsea are reportedly ready to make him one of the highest paid players at Stamford Bridge.
Gavi has been a key member of Xavi’s side this season, scoring two goals and providing six assists in 40 competitive appearances.
“I don’t think Gavi would be happy at a different club,” the Barcelona boss told reporters at his pre-match press conference.
“He has everything here at 18 and is an important player for the team. I think his future is here at the club.”
