Real Madrid are interested in signing 27 year old Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer, according to Fichajes via The Hard Tackle.

Loftus-Cheek will have one year left on his Chelsea contract at the end of the season and it is believed Chelsea will be open to cashing in to avoid losing him for free next summer.

Real Madrid reportedly want to sign Loftus-Cheek as they see the Chelsea midfielder as utility player who could regularly help with squad rotation.

Real Madrid see Loftus-Cheek as the perfect replacement for Dani Ceballos who will leave at the end of the season. Ceballos wants regular playing time and needs to feel important again.
