The Chelsea hierarchy admire the work former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has done at newly promoted Burnley, according to The Times.

Kompany has transformed Burnley from a club that plays defensive football to a club that plays attractive and expansive football.

Kompany has guided Burnley back to the Premier League in his first season in charge and Burnley are on course to win the Championship as they lead second place Sheffield United with 12 points with 5 games left to play.

Chelsea also admire Palmeiras’s Portuguese coach Abel Ferreira.
