Chelsea and Real Madrid are both interested in signing Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez, according to Fichajes via CaughtOffside.

The report claims Alvarez, who won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina, will ask to leave the Etihad if Pep Guardiola cannot offer him more first-team minutes.

Alvarez is behind Erling Haaland in pecking order at Manchester City and it is believed the Argentine is ready to leave for a club where he will play a key role.

Alvarez, who has five years left on his deal, has scored 13 goals in 37 matches in all competitions.
