Following Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Saturday, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was told fans morale is dropping and was asked to send a message to Chelsea fans.

Lampard said: “I’m not here to do that. What happens on the pitch matters.

“My words, I don’t want to say come and please support us, I know they’ll do that. We need to fight. Nothing is on the fans, it’s up to us.”
