Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is set to correct the club’s transfer mistake of not signing a striker by signing Brazilian striker Vitor Roque.

Chelsea are set to battle Premier League rivals Arsenal for the transfer of 18 year old Roque, according to TEAMtalk.

The 18-year-old has also been heavily linked with Barcelona but the Catalans cannot afford to spend big on the youngster this summer.

His club Athletico Paranaense have valued the teenager at around £35m and both Arsenal and Chelsea have not been put off by such a price tag.

The report adds that Arsenal and Chelsea have both been in contact with Roque’s camp and Athletico have recognised their need to cash in on the forward, who has been likened to Manchester City hero Sergio Aguero.
