Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has told Chelsea right-back Reece James to improve following his poor performance against Vinicius in Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid.

“Reece has never had a harder game than today,” said Ferdinand about James’ display.

“Vinicius showed him no respect. And it won’t be any easier at Stamford Bridge.

“Reece needs to take this personally to see where did he get it wrong.”
