Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly wanted by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to replace Graham Potter as Chelsea permanent manager.

Real Madrid defender David Alaba has hailed Ancelotti as a great coach and wants the Italian to continue as Real Madrid manager despite interest from Chelsea.

Alaba said: “He is a great coach, he has proven that many times. He is no stranger to success and we’ve all seen that in the past.

“We are very happy to have him and we would love him to continue next year.”
