Chelsea fans have slammed Kai Havertz following his inconsistent performances for the club since joining from Bayer Leverkusen.

If he was as good as his price tag indicates he should be, he should be able to score without the entire team and system built around him. Outside of one legendary goal, he’s been awful.”

People don’t talk about it, but he was extremely lucky to score that one. He’s awful at 1-1s in general and Ederson got a hand to his knock on. If he hadn’t, it likely would’ve taken him too close to the touch line to shoot. Or if Ederson’s block was a little stronger, the opportunity would’ve been lost.”

Nickchim94: “We’ve played him as a winger, as a striker, as a false 9, as part of a forward 2, as an inside forward in a front 3, in a midfield 3, and every single time he’s failed to show any consistent resemblance of a great player. at this point we should cut our losses and move on from him.”
