Following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Wolves, Chelsea interim manager Frank Lampard insists some Chelsea players need to understand what wearing the Chelsea badge means.

Lampard said: “I hope you understand that the work that’s going to go in on my part, the staff, the players… some players have come in, give them time to settle… they [players] have to understand what playing for Chelsea means.

“They need to know what it means, what wearing the badge means. The fans react to that.

“They are always brilliant. I guarantee the period I’m here for I’ll work on the players and try and develop, get us to where we want to be.”
