Barcelona have made the first move to sign Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo via Sport Witness.

The report adds: “Sunday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo reports Barcelona have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a target, but Chelsea requests could prove an issue.

“Whilst Aubameyang is ready to accept a pay cut if he gets his desire to sign for the Blaugrana again, Chelsea aren’t as willing to accommodate the move.

“Mundo state Chelsea want to recoup as much of the €15m paid for his transfer. Meanwhile, ‘the first moves have been made’ by Barcelona, and the negotiations will have to find a happy compromise for the two clubs.”
