Ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash between Chelsea and Real Madrid in Spain, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has warned Real Madrid that ‘anything can happen’ despite Chelsea’s poor form.
“It’s a different competition, it will be a different type of game and it’s up to us to prepare in the right way and anything can happen,” Lampard told Sky Sports television.
“We respect the fact we’re playing the current holders so we have to focus on that now and cannot be too despondent.
“We’ll certainly analyse the game and we have to make improvements because we feel we want to be better and the only way to get better is hard work.”
It would’ve been a different ball game if it was to be someone else order than Lamps.. I don’t really fancy him at all.. Lamp, got nothing to offer.. it’s just a shame that he was taken but he isn’t actually the answer..
