Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante started the goalless draw against Liverpool on Tuesday but didn’t travel with the squad for the game against Wolves.
Explaining why Kante won’t play against Wolves, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard said: “One of the challenging things of coming in so quickly is getting up to speed with medical and sport science with the amount of games we have coming up in the next few weeks.
“There are no worries about N’Golo. We’re managing him through it. He’s been out for a long time so it’s a way of managing him, that’s the way it was at the club before.”
