Chelsea announced the appointment of Frank Lampard as interim manager until the end of the season on Thursday.
According to Daily Mail, the Blues have now finalised agreements with members of Lampard’s coaching staff.
Chelsea legend Ashley Cole have joined Lampard’s coaching staff which also imcludes Chris Jones and Joe Edwards.
All three have previously worked with Lampard, whose second reign begins at Wolves on Saturday, and they were together as a quartet at Everton.
Cole was not on Lampard’s first-team staff during his previous 18-month stint as Chelsea manager that ended in January 2021 but was part of the club’s youth set up at the time.
I seriously don’t expect much improvement of Chelsea with Frank Lampard considering how he performed last time. I wish Thomas was the one to come back for the team.
