According to talkSPORT, Frank Lampard’s return to Chelsea won’t offer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a route back into the fold.

The report adds: “It is unlikely that Frank Lampard’s return to Chelsea will offer forgotten man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a route back into the fold.

“Aubameyang has not featured for Chelsea since playing the final seven minutes of the 2-0 defeat at Tottenham on February 26.

“The Gabon international was also a shock omission from the Blues’ squad for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

“Aubameyang’s camp maintain the former Arsenal man has not caused any issues behind the scenes and there is a suspicion his exile is down to the fact he is seen as Thomas Tuchel’s man.

“Tuchel managed Aubameyang at Borussia Dortmund but was sacked one game after signing him for Chelsea.”
