Chelsea is showing serious interest in signing £87million Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili but face competition from Manchester United, according to Spanish outlet COPE via GOAL.
The report adds: “According to reports from Spanish outlet COPE, Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is attracting serious interest from the Premier League, with Manchester United and Chelsea said to be battling it out for his signature this summer.
“Since joining Los Ches in 2021, the 22-year-old has impressed, but he’ll be difficult to prise from Valencia. He currently has over four years left on his current contract, as well as a whopping £87m release clause that will make the Georgian keeper out of reach for many clubs.”
