Premier League rival Tottenham Hotspur are set to hold talks with former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique, who is also wanted by Chelsea, according to 90min.

The report adds: “Luis Enrique could sit down with Tottenham and discuss taking over their vacant managerial position, with Chelsea also keen.
“The London managerial race is picking up heat as new candidates emerge every day. Luis Enrique is a familiar name on Tottenham’s list. And according to Football Insider, the two parties could discuss a move.

“Reports from Spain on Wednesday pointed at Luis Enrique arriving in London to discuss the vacant managerial position at Chelsea. The Stamford Bridge outfit are keen on the 52-year-old former Spanish national manager as they continue to evaluate him among other targets.

“Enrique remains without a job after leaving the Spanish team after their World Cup elimination. The 52-year-old Chelsea managerial target could also have eyeballs from the other London side seeking a new manager, as Tottenham show interest.

“Spurs may have had sights on other targets. But recent reports suggested Roberto De Zerbi and Julian Nagelsmann are uninterested in the position. While they remain optimistic about all their current targets, Spurs could take the opportunity to discuss a move with Enrique.

“With the 52-year-old Chelsea managerial target in London, it is all the more convenient to take the next steps. Enrique could sit down with Tottenham and understand a potential move to the club. The Spaniard remains open to a position in the Premier League, which he has yet to try in his successful career.”
