Michael Owen believes Chelsea have a ‘seriously good player’ in Enzo Fernandez and expects the Argentine midfielder to justify his huge price-tag at Stamford Bridge.

Fernandez has enjoyed a promising start to his Blues career following a record-breaking £107m move from Benfica in January.

“In Enzo Fernandez, I think Chelsea have got a seriously good player,” Owen said on Premier League Productions.

“I know he cost an awful lot of money and I know people will be saying you should be good for that type of money.

“But I think he is seriously good. He absolutely oozes class.”
